要想时刻比追杀你的猎手快一步，你将需要三样东西：撑得过小行星带航行的飞船，一队精明能干的船员，以及两三单来钱的活计。
飞船是你偷来的。这艘破破烂烂的老旧拖船，早已过了自己的巅峰岁月，但你也只能凑合着用了。升级飞船，就能飞得更远，前往新地点，把飞船从陋室变成温暖的家。
你的首位船员是塞拉芬，此人既是和你一同出逃的患难之交，也是颇具实力的驾驶员。但维系长期飞行有大量工作要做，因此还需要回收工、工程师等各路人才，方可游刃有余应对。从暂时的合同工，到轻舟上的新住民，每位角色都有自己的故事、技能以及麻烦，挑选船员时可要留个心眼。

本作新增承接合同系统，为《深空梦里人》带来目标明确、讲求策略的新式游戏体验。你将需要精心准备，选择正确的途径，来完成这些多循环、高风险、高回报的任务；但与此同时也要因时制宜，根据掷骰子的结果和任务本身的波折，及时作出反应和调整。
逐星带的世界比起原作更广阔、更多元。你不再生活在单独一座空间站中，而是可以自由勾勒往来于各枢纽的路线，按你所需接受任务、设定目标。逐星带是个生机勃勃的世界，好奇心和细心总会有所回报；至于哪个地点和故事值得你花时间和资源深挖，则要由你自己来下主意。

Like the first, but better
I will say, im not that far in the game yet, but from the few hours ive played it improves on pretty much everything that made the first one so good. its more challenging, theres more to do and the expeditions and salvage missions are really fun with a great crew system. banger game.

Like CS1 but takes a different path
CS2 builds on CS1 but reworks stat progression and abilities. The biggest change is the addition of class specific abilities, which cost points to upgrade. CS1 allowed you to be a jack of all trades, but you'll need to plan your builds a bit more here. The story is also quite different. You play as a different sleeper, just in the same world space. This time around, you've got around 10 distinct locations to visit instead of one. Many of these changes are for the better. The gameplay seems to flow better and you can also unlock some non-character related upgrades. My problem, however, is the story moves away from the human aspect that made CS1 so special. Don't get me wrong, it's still distinctly human but I didn't connect with this iteration of the world or its characters. CS1 makes you feel like you're building something. It also shows the ways humanity can be messy, despite good intentions. The game doesn't present easy solutions but it gives you an idea of what community building in a world experiencing late stage capitalism might look like. In CS2, all that takes a back seat to the main quest and themes of confronting death. You help out several communities and characters but don't get to learn much, if anything, about them. Several CS1 characters also make appearances but only minor ones. It's very hard to feel invested in this world because there seems to be very little, if any progression over CS1. The main story doesn't help with this, as it's very same-y after playing CS1. In terms of gameplay, this is better than CS1. In terms of story and character writing? CS1 has it beat. I might revise this later on after a replay, but this did not gel with me the way CS1 did. Sorry. :(

A "sequel" better than the original
I played the other 2 games by Jump Over the Age before and liked the stories. It was years ago, so some details are fuzzy, but I remember the game mechanic of In Other Waters feeling like a distraction from the story telling and the first Citizen Sleeper's story ending on a cliffhanger. This game does not continue the story of the previous one, but expands the world a bit by telling a different story. It feels whole on its own, both emotionally and story wise. The basic setting of the story should be familiar to any sci-fi fans, but the author's choices of story elements are intriguing and believable. I think it's a coherent combination of what-ifs and whys, and a fitting farewell to the series for the time being. Needless to say, the graphics and music are well done, adding a lot to the atmosphere.

Exceptional Sequel and Extension
Citizen Sleeper 2 expands on the unique and expertly executed game play mechanics of the first game. It introduce complex new mechanics that add both unique challenges, and unique flavor to this version. This game is all its own. The gameplay is both strategic and psychological. This game taps into rich storytelling and deeply realized characters in an expansive and living world. The narrative unspools naturally, and each element of game design, game play, player choice and events come together to weave the story effortlessly. The way this all comes together is magic. I have rarely suffered such active stress or celebrated wins, as I have while playing this game. I can't think of a play experience that I have enjoyed more than both this game and its precursor. There is real magic here for those who are willing to embrace it.
