This is the very definition of a hidden gem. Lost for decades, this is one of the best looking, and playing, Quake clones out there. Fantastic detail on the environments and character models.

Agreed about the price
I won't lie, this is a great, underrated game. I owned this game back in the 90s, and I loved it. However, it is not worth $19.99 by today's standards. At 75% off, I would definitely buy it.

How to better resume this fantastic game that finally comeback from the dead? Chasm is an underrated game that deserves more love, despite some jankiness, the game did many things right, full body dismemberment, great variety of scenarios and different enemies through different eras. The levels are fun and challenging, you have to look carefully to know where to go, some locations looks almost hidden and you have to look at the details to move foward. Still is a fun game as much as I remember, I will advise any fan of boomer shooters to give it a try if you haven't!

Bonus: The original Chasm!
It is nice to be able to play old games on new hardware and/or operating systems, but this is the first time that I found the game distributed in the right way. Including original files, CD image, etc. I don't like when I get a game that can not run on the original hardware/O.S. targeted by the game, or are missing a lot of libraries and have to hunt them down on Internet. My 5 stars are not for the game but the way they packed it.

Great game. This is how a re-release should be. Great graphics. Widescreen resolution works well. No stretching or graphic oddities. Great game. As of 2/2023, graphics config is borked. Installed via Galaxy, resolution set to 10000x10000. What? Works on Win7 Windows 7 Fix for Crashing issue: Config located in this directory: C:\Users\\Documents\Chasm Edit the text file "chasm_config.txt" (It is UNIX formatted. To make it more readable, use Notepad++.) Edit the following parameters. "Renderer" "DirectX11" "Resolution" "1920x1080" <---Any reasonable setting. "Shading Quality" "0" <---Set both to start up "VSync" "0" <---Set both to start up Once in game you can change settings to your liking.
