The best title in the series
This probably won't be much of a review, more of an advice. If you like quest games, you should definitely play this, but stay away from the sequels! The second one seems really rushed towards the end, the third one is actually quite okay if you get used to the 3D and console controls, and the fourth one is just so bad it hurts. Don't go anywhere near it. The original title is absolutely great though.

Seminal adventure that holds up
I played the included classic version, not the remake, so I can't say much about that. What I did play was a gorgeous and charming and surreal adventure suffused with wacky British wit. It's about a clueless American patent lawyer on vacation in Paris who gets wrapped up in an insane Illuminati conspiracy. Famous for it's ball-crushingly cruel goat puzzle. Look up that ungodly bastard in a walkthrough, but please solve the rest on your own.

Worth getting it for original game
Broken Sword 1 original is simply a must have. Love the puzzle solving, love talking to characters. Very well made game. Absolute must own, possibly best point and click game ever made!

Interesting but some lack of logic
The game is decent. It has been a nice experience, it's a bit old, tho. Fortunately it has a tip system to guide you, because you need some luck in trial&error your inventary objects with environment to solve some puzzles
