Think Diablo 2 meets some plataforming

Overall this is a good game, it's comedic if a bit dry in its comedy, but it's really just an overhead action RPG with plataforming. The graphics are great, but the game feels a bit weak due to the plataforming, making you fall to your deah quite often until you get the hang of the physics. Besides that, it's got an innovative action/rpg hybrid that I think would've benefited from an armor upgrade system instead of just shield and health, because no matter the lefel, the enemies are still very challenging. If you're into the genre, go ahead and buy, only if you're ok with the fact that you'll never be overpowering your foes and have to get to know their weaknesses and your weapons.

Took about 5 minutes to fail

Not even through the tutorial and had to quit out and start over? Yeah that's a problem. How can you have that level of bug in a game? It just stuck mid jump, couldn't move, couldn't use powers to get out of being stuck, no option but start over. $40 for this? Dream on, glad I only paid $4 given it seems to have been a waste. Graphics are ok, not great. In fact, they are rather overdone for a game of this nature. No view options, only isometric. Layout is diagonal and control is cardinal, so it's at odds with itself. Otherwise, it's basically a really fancy modern version of something between Berserker and Smash TV. Don't know those games? Get off my lawn!

Surprisingly Fun-Game

Though I expected not much - I was very much suprised in a positive sense. This game has a great pacing and a good drive. Weapons are very different and feel good. The levels are simple to pass but you can also take your time to find all secrets. The backtracing is not that bad because you have a swift move feature. The levels look very good. But prepare to die often, to fall down or to get overrun by large attacks in the first attempt trying to beat the game! I even got an achievement for dying the 50th time. Later you can start the game a second time and keep all your weapons and upgrades, so it will be much easier and indeed even more fun. This is a really good game for people love to play and dont need much story cutscenes to have fun.

A poor attempt at creating the next Duke

I remember being excited for Bombshell when it was first announced. And then it launched and it was apparent that it was plagued with bugs and poor optimization. I feel like the game has been out for a year and there are still too many problems, both technical and otherwise, to justify purchasing this game. The biggest gripe I had is that I had numerous issues with the mouse aiming, which was warping all around the character. And even then, I tried to switch to my gamepad and it wouldn't activate, despite selecting it in the options (and restarting). The little bit I played showcased unchallenging enemies and enemies so small that you can barely see them (and they also blend into the background color palette), which lead to boredom and frustration. Ultimately, I had to ask for a refund because none of the proposed solutions were able to overcome this disaster. BUYER BEWARE!

Not worth it

This game was a freebie with my new GTX 970... I now know why it came free with it. I barely finished the very first level and was not even half-way into the second one that I uninstalled it. CONs -Game crashed at least 2-3 times before I even finished the first two mission. I don't play unstable games as they make my PC unstable, thus at risk. -Sound glitches, especially during cut-scenes, -Zero QA - always wondering which button to use to do required actions, poor user interface design and usability, etc. -Terrible sound balance - you barely hear some voices, others makes your ears bleed, -Felt boring (as in repetitive) and more of a mobile game than a PC game. Maybe it's just the genre; not my genre for sure. PROs -The protagonist looks cool. -Funny one liners -Cool finishing moves, though a bit too long during intense fights. -Would DEFINITELY play this on a mobile device to past time. MISC -The gameplay feels and looks identical to that Angry Bot demo project that comes with Unity3D, but in Unreal. lol
