在一座小小的中世纪镇子中，蜿蜒的小巷里藏着你的工坊。最初，这里只是一个不起眼的地方，里面有一位不起眼的铁匠，但却有潜力成为伟大工坊。在这里，你要掌管整条生产链，监管遥远的伐木营地和矿井，获取原材料，将矿石融炼成锭，用来制造武器、盔甲、工具和宝石，好好陈列，卖给顾客赚取利润。
你还要完成来自王国各地的订单，解锁新的特权和能力，比如设计新产品。你需要设计你的店铺布局，充分利用空间，划分工作去和陈列区，同时还要添加个性布置，为原本单调沉闷的工坊增添一丝活力。随着你的名气远播，工坊的经营规模也会随之扩大，不用多久，你就会成为手艺卓群的铁匠大师。
不管是侍卫的宝剑、伐木工的斧头，还是旅馆老板的煎锅，打造的这些物品都需要原料，有些原料要从地底挖掘，有些来自王国辽阔的森林深处。雇佣矿工和伐木工，为他们配备合适的工具，给他们建造营地，保证他们能高效率地工作。毕竟没了他们，你可没办法制造任何物品。
你有很多选择，要么在这些偏远的工场投资建造休息站，加派员工，花时间和金钱让工人们保持身心健康和愉快；要么最大限度地节省这些不必要的开支，将利益最大化；又或者只把钱花在找那些技艺精湛的铁匠，给他们支付薪水。同时，你还需要升级店铺，加建楼层，引进先进的制法，制造出更多有趣的物品，从而提升你的名气，吸引更多的顾客……
在《铁匠大师》中，你有多种方法制造物品，可以选择亲自冶炼，或者完全依靠员工完成工作。有些物品的制作过程较长，包括加热锭块、在铁砧上捶打、回火、组装，最后用砂轮打磨。也有其它物品制作工艺比较简单，所需工具以及花费的时间和精力都更少，但是利润跟获利都大打折扣。
你的任务是研究并开发吸引客户购买的新商品，同时你要优化工作场所，保证你的铁匠们可以协同工作，从简单到复杂高级的商品都能制作。你还要满足小镇及周围的顾客，提供以下商品：
不同铁匠拥有不同技能，需要由你来进行培养。有些铁匠擅长与金属打交道，有的做木工天赋异禀，有些铁匠专精宝石工艺，还有些擅长研究新技术，开发新商品。在你的带领下，员工们的手艺会越来越精湛，你是选择让他们成长为通才，在需要时可以随时提供帮助，还是让他们专精某一项呢？

Good time waster.
I really enjoyed playing this game. Its one of those time wasters where you see numbers increase as you progress. Design your forge and shop to make money. There is little more than that at the moment. The 3rd person taking control of a character is a gimic and really won't be used or useful. The engine used is Unity, BUT an old version so it runs just fine on systems as ancient as Windows 7.

Love it already'
Just a few minutes playing and this already shines for me :-). Having owned and played Tavern Master for a while now, this was an instant purchase and it was well worth the moeny. Not spotted any issues so far, but if there are any, I have no doubt that they will be fixed. Decent tutorial so far and I love the accessibility options, UI-Scaling being essential for me, so that's always a HUGE plus-point in my opinion. Looking forward to playing some more and discovering everything this game has to offer :-D.

Fun game with customizable sandox mode
Nice music, fine graphics, fun to watch them make and sell items. I like that it's a "idle-ish" game once you fully set it up. No agenda's of any type in the game. (this is refreshing).

Great management game
I LOVE the management, I love the logistics, I love the process... I hate how expensive it is to recruit people... I have so many more things I want to do, and almost not enough money. =) Just more Management! 10/10 Would drop everything and play it again!
