Finally we have a game with an original story, without 21st Century Nonsense added, pure futurism and intrigue, a bit clunky at time but beautiful regardless

Revisiting Union City in style
To be frank, I had rather low expectations when I installed the game, and the intro did not really convince me...However, once the game started I almost instantly fell in love with it. The atmosphere of the game was spot on, and highly reminiscient of its predecessor, Beneath a Steel Sky, with its subtle humour in a rather grim world. While playing the original isn't a strict necessity, it helps in understanding how this game does not merely play homage to it – you do revisit familiar locations – but expands the original universe. A true sequel if I've ever seen one! The characters are well written with even the side characters having depth. You remember Pixel & Voxel, Songbird, Reginald, etc.. because the game does not forget them either – They are real parts of the story! It's not perfect though, there's quite a bit of running around and a couple of the puzzles are whut-level click around and find out. There are also bug...well, I'd call them features with one of the more inventive "hacking" interfaces around there. Overall, I don't think I've enjoyed any adventure game so much since, well, Indy & the Fate of Atlantis...? Heartily recommended!

This is how you do sequels!
Well, at least story wise. From a game perspective, i wish more Games would do something like this, because it actually works great. I think Point and Click games have evolved through the time to actual adventure games and this iteration does an outstanding job. Graphics, storytelling and world building are outstanding and very, very good. I agree with others, that some puzzles are a bit too easy, nevertheless the story makes more than up for the shortcomings in that regard. Sadly, the controls are not all that great, it's a bit sluggish and can be very clunky. The Linux Version does have a few graphical glitches, and POV is sadly not that great on modern, Ultrawide or let alone Super-Ultrawides. However, i did not have any crashes. If i could give "middle stars", this would absolutely be a 4.5 or maybe even a 4.8. It's not far away from a perfect game and extremely enjoyable gaming experience.

pretty good
it's less stressful than Cyberpunk 2077 so it's good. because i'm old and don't want to be overly stimulated.
