I loved it but I'm odd

I loved this game. Pretty much everything I wanted, and that's building up a unit of cool 'Mechs and stomping things with them. I've been playing Battletech since 1987 and I know the 3025 technical readout far too well. This means I'm far from objective. The graphics are passable nothing more. The story is decent, not up to the standards of the Shadowrun series. But I still logged far too many hours on the game.

A good game riddled with bugs

I was really enjoying the gameplay..from the day to day of a merc company to the tense battlefields that could see the loss of a valued pilot in a hearbeat. Even though combat maps took several minutes to load, navigating the ship screens that froze for 10-15 seconds at a time, I was okay with that since I took it oddly nostalgically made me think of when I first played the mech commander games on my clunky old tigerdirect machine as a kid. However with the release of the new patch 1.03, my game has its timeline frozen after the next financial report no matter what save I load. Maybe it has to do with pilots morale being bugged to high morale and I'd have to fire them to get past it, but I dont see myself firing the pilots I had spent the last 80 plus hours with. So it ends on a sour note, maybe I'll pick this game up again later but Deliamorte's Dragoons will have to power down the mech bays for now.

Good game some minor crashing issues

This is going to be a short and simple review the Game is a good game, has some issues with CTD on occasion but the games built in auto save helps not losing much progress. i see alot of negative reviews but ive played the game all the way thru and beat the story, only thing left desired is wanting more, DLC for added stories and expanded universe would be amazing or adding in more mechs. Maybe adding in the Clan section or add a clan campaign or section of a clan campaign so you can keep the IS and clan space separate for lore reasons. Another thing highly desired and only available in mods is that you cant get lostech items ie double heat sinks or Gauss rifle or ER lasers or Pulse lasers if you lose it on ur lostech mechs you work ur butt off to get. Besides that no complaints... great game and worth the time played.

Kind of sluggish, but overall good!

I really enjoyed this game. My computer is, admittedly, not the best. So I had a bit of lag, but beyond that I really enjoyed the gameplay and world building that went into it. Also, to counteract what some people are saying, I found the option to use gender neutral language really refreshing,

Fantastic

Fantastic gameplay, great music, and neat cinematics (especially that intro). Really feels like a labor of love made by fans of the Batttletech universe.
