A glorified visual novel of 100gb+ or a zoomer coomer's fever dream.
Seriously, when you see multiple broccoli top and feminist bangs options for hair as well as custom genitalia, beards for females, female voices for men and pointless 3rd option for sex you just know what type of game you're into.
And it proves to be exactly the one by continuing with hectic story and oversexualized predictable dialogues, behind which you just see those writers with mentality of an insecure, docile 20y.o.
After 700+ hours, I can safely say BG3 is in my top 3 favorite games of all time. I don't think I've ever played a more absorbing and creatively rewarding game in my life. I'm more excited to start my 4th playthrough than several of the brand new games in my library. This is an experience not to be missed.
I have played over 26hrs and have very mixed feelings about. I understand its early access and I'm expecting glitches, some functional issues, some missing options and so on. What I don't understand why this is called a Baldurs Gate 3. Im a big fan of Baldurs Gate and this was the only reason why I have paid €60 for early access hoping I will get to play Baldurs Gate once more, unfortunately, this has nothing to do with the BG so far, and I doubt it will ever have. To me, it seems that Larian Studio bought the rights from BioWear counting on gamers like my self to spend hard-earned money to buy the game because of the title. Don't make me wrong the game so far is nice, and I have enjoyed every hour, it looks amazing and I really like some mechanism. However, I feel like this is misleading advertising and the game should have a different name -as it is simply not a Baldurs Gate.
