Though an older game, the Baldurs Gate series of games begginning with Baldurs Gate, Siege of Dragonspear Shadows of Amn, and its end Throne of Bhaal entail a rich story with many various paths to take. it is an enjoyable experience and replayable. Throne of Bhaal is not great but it is amust play to finish the story.
So overestimated. Dull and uninteresting game. When I spend more time sorting my inventory than exploring, I consider a game a huge fail. I don't know why people say it's classic, it's just really not good.
Beamdog added a bunch of garbage that doesn't fit tonally. They added nothing whatsoever to improve the game or make it more playable on modern devices - at least they added nothing that easy mods didn't already provide. Beamdog is a garbage company with garbage leadership, and GOG is complicit in their garbage behavior by forcing users to spend even a single cent supporting Beamdog in order to get a serial key for the original version of this game.
I'm very disappointed in both this god awful "enhanced" game and in GOG for making me buy this trash in order to get original game (which is actually quite good).
It fixes bugs i didn't care about and introduces bugs that i do care about.
The graphics manage to be worse than the 20 year old original.
The menu is a bloated mess with endless options for customization, it is difficult to navigate it.
All the new content and characters feel really out of place and modding them out introduces a ton of issues since they are inter-mingled with other quests. It almost feels like Beamdog tried to force them on the player which is quite contrary to the style of the original.
The game also feels easier although i cannot quite pin point why.
Buying the EE does allow you to download the old gog version of the game, so your money won't be entirely wasted.
