Galaxy-free installers: account-based option

This wish regards the offline installers.
If you don't want to waste drive space or untick the installation of Galaxy every time you install a game, GOG's new plan is an absolute disaster.
The new change may even lead to the installers being updated far more frequently (just because Galaxy has been updated).

(inspired by mechmouse) I'm proposing this compromise because it might allow GOG to have their way whilst not having to lose us as a customer.

Please consider also voting for the following two entries:


Don't bundle Galaxy with the offline installers: www.gog.com/wishlist/site/remove_the_socalled_optional_galaxy_client_from_any_all_offline_installers

Don't make installing Galaxy an opt-out option: www.gog.com/wishlist/site/dont_make_installing_galaxy_the_default_setting_in_standalone_game_installers

I would love to have a 'never bother me about Galaxy again in any way' setting for my account!

Because being pro or con Galaxy is a general decision that is not likely to be changed from game to game, I think that an Account-wide setting for this decision would be pretty reasonable!

This is why I save all my installers after I buy a game and decide to update them or not. That being said, if "Bad clone of steam", or when, it is finally forced upon me just to play a GOOD old (or new) game, I am closing my account.
