MarkoH01 GOG has capped the game to 30fps only to prevent some stability issues. However those issues don't occur to everybody and on everybodys system. Still GOG is refusing to remove the fix or at least give us an optional uncapped version of the executable they've changed. Even contacting support did not help although GOG itself told us that they would here: https://www.gog.com/forum/saints_row_series/saints_row_2_locked_at_30_fps/post30. So I am requesting this option using the wishlist. It is a shame that GOG died not include this option from the beginning. It's not even mentioned on the game page that this game has been altered with to only run at max 30fps. So people are buying without knowing anything about it!
Braggadar Agree with my fellow GOGites. We need this uncapped pronto. Offer the capped executable alongside the uncapped one for users to choose which suits their purposes please!

##@@##@@ @samissin4082: Most likely yes. There is a way to deactivate it*, but there is some effort involved on your part. To the best of my knowledge, this 'fix' might also break/unbalance/upset other aspects of the game. Whether or not those problems would be worse than barfing all over your monitor and keyboard from running a 3D game in 3FPS I do not know... You'd better ask others who've already tried the fix for more details.

Venturion4082 Is capped still in effect?
GameMaster_83 I have had enough of all these "fixes" from GOG as well as the push for that steam like client Galaxy on us .
Please stop thinking of us like valve thinks of its customers and give us options such as the removal of this "fix" we never asked for that actually broke the game.
FYI I am GREATLY angered by this that a customer not a GOG staff member had to create a method to fix your "fix" and it took ages to remedy.

Mark-Mark My thoughts are leave the fix but also provide the non-capped version and let people choose which one they want to run.
If you have the problem use the capped one if you can live with the issues or don't experience problems use the uncapped one.
The capped version actually makes it harder to control vehicles during driving as this is still a very poor port and the notchiness of the driving causing overcompensation is both harder to deal with and more noticeable.

EnforcerSunWoo An optional patch to remove GOG's 30fps cap would be great. The Nvidia inspector fix that is going around is nothing more than a bandaid for a GSW as it doesn't fully uncap the game. Not to mention that it doesn't help ATI users at all. There are mods that increase stability and even people that do not experience these stability issues whatsoever. Let us decide if we want to cap the game at 30fps or not, please...
