Thermal_Shock It'd require a herculean effort to fix that godawful PC port. But otherwise this is my favorite of the Saints Row games.
Kaffeine Nicotine I don't think the port is that bad, I just sunk 70+ hours in the Steam version and besides some periodic frame-rate issues and the fact that PC gamers didn't get the DLC missions, it was a lot of fun.
tfishell I think, now that Deep Silver is here as publisher, we could see the Saint's Row games show up. Of course, if the games suck on PC, maybe GOG shouldn't bother. :-/

lostintime While this is a cd projekt port (and a poor one at that) I am under the impression it was an early effort. Plus "cd projekt" represents several different entities, I am unsure whether cd projeckt RED (developers of witcher) were even involved,
Anyways, the sorcerers here at GOG are seemingly capable of getting almost any game running on a modern os. Maybe a gog release would correct issues that have long plagued the notorious steam version. Seeing how Saints Row 2 is now property of deep silver one can always dream of it showing up here.

Game speed is linked to processor speed (MHz)... how could they not notice that??
It would be in gog.com style to get it working for everyone. They could use the fan-made patches as example/base.
I guess gog.com would be our only hope for a proper version of this game.

Decatonkeil Saints Row 2 getting the GOG treatment sounds gorgeous. DRM-free, Windows 7 and 8 compatible, patched, bonus content... please make it happen!
KDarkmoon Would love to get this DRM-free as well. Despite the horrible port from console leaving the controls a nightmare, I still greatly enjoy this game. TIP: It's WAY easier to play using a Razer Naga mouse. ;)

Paddy It would be fantastic to be able to buy an updated version of this game, seeing as how the developers don't give enough of a shit about it to make it compatible with Windows Vista x64 and later (currently we have to use speed hacks to slow it down and the performance in general is horrendous).
