Unfortunately I know the reality that Japanese publishers are way more skeptical of the PC market and are even more insistant on the use of DRM. If anything the real surprise is that the Steam release of this game doesn't have Denuvo, like basically all SEGA releases, anything new and not an MMO by Square, and CAPCOM games for the first year or so they're out.
That said, haven't bought it over on Steam because this is the storefront I'm holding out for.

tfishell you could try asking Bend Studio (*politely, do not spam or be rude*) for a GOG release on their Twitter page, or via the contact info on the bottom of the "Community" page on their website.

bikkurin I am a bit sceptical about this game, but would support it financially if it gets released on GOG.
Furthermore if Days Gone is coming, God of War is coming 100% eventually.

popatsot Playing on Steam now and it's mostly a good port. The problem for me has been the controller. Using a DS4 the game on Steam has not mapped certain functions to it. Example: The bike controls only have accelerate and brake assigned. The controls for turning or shooting are not. So I found it very odd that I could only go forward into a wall. You can change the config but I hope that if it comes to GOG that's fixed. Other then that having a blast going through the game again and will buy on GOG just to have a permanent version of it.

Sezzam Hope Days Gone will be available here. Bought HZD on Steam way too soon and definitely will buy it on GoG when price will drop a bit .
