A Lobby System That Automates Hosting Multiplayer Games

Setting up multiplayer can be tough; sometimes thing's just don't want to cooperate. For this reason, services such as Game Ranger, Tunngle, or Hamachi exist which allow players to create private lobbies and bypass these speed bumps. What I'm proposing is having this implemented directly into the Galaxy client. Game Ranger is an excellent service for reference. A party is made, the host chooses a game and sets the server up (maps, password etc). When the host launches the server, everyone in the party automatically has their game launched and is immediately connected to the server. If this framework was added to Galaxy, it would bring life into old multiplayer games, alleviate the potential frustration of hosting and provide unparalleled convenience over any other digital platform.

(I just put a wish and then realized that there was this one already)

Ad-Hoc Multiplayer Capabilities, Friends Joining Games Directly

There is something Steam does that I think it would be awesome for Galaxy.

There are a handful of games that still have very enjoyable multiplayer, and now that Galaxy is going to have chat and friend lists, it would be awesome if we could start a multiplayer game right there and that friends could join directly using the interface.

Or maybe invite them from the game.

Or create a group chat, one makes a game server and the rest join.
