This must be one of the most beautiful games I've had the pleasure to play. Every single scenario shines with work, dedication and love. Music and voice acting are both superb. The story is simple, yet powerful and moving. No character will say an understable word, yet all of them manage to evoke their own personality. Puzzles require thought, but aren't hard; most of them are solved by paying attention to the little details. A magic, wonderful trip!
I used to dream about a single player card game with good gameplay, beautiful art, amazing soundtrack, captivating story... Thronebreaker is that dream come true. It was engaging from the very beginning, made me connect with all the characters and inspired me to explored every bit of every map. Battles were always interesting and allowed me plenty of room to experiment and try out different cards and tactics. The toughest part of the game weren't the battles or puzzles, but the moral decisions I was forced to make. They genuinely made me feel the weight of responsibility; some of their consequences I won't ever be able to forget! Simply put: An amazing journey. Thank you Thronebreaker.
Beautiful, entrancing and action packed shooter... Amazing graphics and effects, with loads of weapons to choose from and enemies to shoot at. On the enhanced edition, there is a total of 16 "missions" to play, all of them feel different and interesting. The AI is very intelligent and will put you in all kinds of situations, from "kill everything that moves" to "run for your life!"... Also, the sound deparment is exceptionally good. Personally, I loved every second of the ambient soundtrack, it added so much depth and immersion it made me feel like I was really there. Wish we had more of these!
After a lot of bad experiences with other titles, I completely dropped the CCG genre... Until I discovered this game. Now my day isn't complete without a Gwent match. This is one of the very few card games that allow you to play any way you like, from full offense to full defense and everything in between. There are so many of options, strategies and combos possible that I keep making new decks constantly! I won't lie to you, not all of them are viable... You are going to see a lot of copy/pasted decks at the higher ranks but, sadly, that is a common woe in this sport. However, if you are a creative person and think more about having fun rather than winning, I assure you, you'll have a great time here. Not to mention, the music and artstyle are excellent, just as you'd expect from The Witcher. To make it even better, it's super free to play friendly and has a well adapted and maintained Android version.
