Caves of Qud

Ignore the Brigading

This is possibly the greatest and most ambitious roguelike since Dwarf Fortress. These one star ratings are coming from youtuber meat-riders and people who don't understand what Steam Workshop is. Steam Workshop is an integrated mod manager FOR Steam. I don't know why anyone would expect it to work with a copy of the game bought on a different service. Just get your mods from Nexus like everyone else. And as far as the Youtuber drama is concerned, I've never heard of that dude and I don't care if the Devs were nice to him and his fans or not. Most Youtubers suck and they tend to collect around them a cloud of people who also suck.

Baldur's Gate: Siege of Dragonspear

Review The Game.

I think one staring a game, because it has two or three characters whom you disagree with politically, is way more asinine than making a game with characters who have disagreeable political opinions. It's an RPG. If you don't like an NPC... kill them, or don't talk to them, or whatever. Games are one of the only mediums where you have that kind of agency. When you run into an NPC who is a slave trader or a cannibal do you run off and write a scathing review, "This game is pro cannibalism, if you like it you are a bad person. One Star!" No you don't, because that is ridiculous. Stop being a child. Review the game for the game.

Warhammer 40,000: Chaos Gate

Review the game for the game

Look guys, I get that it crashes and you want to serve a Buyer Beware warning, but I wish you all would leave these "1 star till its fixed!" reviews on the iTunes store where they belong. Leaving reviews this way skews the rating, and makes the whole system worthless. Review the game for the game. If you’re having technical problems, take that crap to the support forum where it belongs and maybe mention it in the body of your review. Besides, when has GOG not come through on fixing one of these decrepit games, or at least made good on refunds?
