PROS: Great story and narration, great depiction of the 1930s, fitting music and great car sounds, detailed cutscenes with good facial expressions, intuitive gameplay and controls, free-roam mode and race track availible CONS: very closed (linear) game, despite it's open world you won't explore the whole map during main story, less detailed than Mafia II (no changing clothes, functioning shops, or currency, ...) Technical stuff: Visual ghosting when moving, some settings make the game freeze when starting. Overall it's a well done remake, making Mafia's first part playable and enjoyable. It could have been a full-fledged, open world game, using it's detailed world to full potential. As a remake however it's great and a better way to experience the series' first part. I'd give it a solid 7.5 or 8 /10.
