This is basically pokemon with depth. No garbage gimicks all mechanics, at least from what I've witnessed in game. It's a bit tougher than pokemon, but thats due to decent game desighn over basic rpg mechanics. It's different enough to be seperated as well. I played for much longer than I exspected. Don't be scared of this as a pathetic knock off, it's what pokemon wishes it was, and in my opinion, could take gamefreak's and nintendo's lunches, given enough traction.
It's fun. controls are a bit weird, but nothing to out of the ordinary. Seems deeper than I exspected.
