If you seek a great story and a great RPG, The Witcher is going to be a diamond in your collection! only bad thing in the whole game, might be the combat which isn't what you might be used to, and takes some getting used to but when you do, you won't turn away from the game. The game really starts at chapter 2 though. :)
HOMM 3, was a great sequel to the second one, which showed how grand this kind of game could be, the third is more or less known as the HOMM on steroids, pretty much improving on what that was so great about the one before, without many changes, which isn't a bad thing either. It is showed how good this game was after the 4th one came out with so many changes, many thought were too many, while others loved it still, the fifth instalment showed just how great this game was, going back to it's time when the series was the best, and simply improving upon that. But simply improving GFX isn't always enough though, expand upon it, no need for a HOMM 4 change, just more of the good. :) HOMM 2 and 3, are among my all-time greatest games.
