For a pre-alpha demo, this is very impressive. Combat works about as well as I would want it to, and the game looks great. The atmosphere is spot on. I did have a bit of a stuttering issue occasionally, but this is a very early build and my computer is far from high end anyways. I normally don't back kickstarters but I am considering this one.
Shadows: Heretic Kingdoms was definitely GOTY whatever year it was released. It's probably one of the best games I've ever played.
