Brisk turn-based action and strong writing with a epic throughline of cosmic horror. One of the best CRPGs I've played in a long time.
This game is clearly a love letter to Fallout 2, but with an interesting original retro/futuristic setting. The writing is the game's greatest strength, at times laugh out loud funny or compelling and I had to pause to think about some of the tougher decisions. The mechanics are solid but the combat can be a bit too easy. However, there are usually multiple viable solutions to each challenge. Overall I'd recommend to any RPG fan.
