Pretty much unplayable on Win11 and modern Nvidia hardware (RTX3000 series). Frequent stuttering and even more frequent freezes. Story-wise, it still holds up well. What doesn't hold up well at all is the gameplay, unfortunately. Also, I don't know if it has always been a localization problem or not, but the fact that for a lot of things you are told what "Action X" button does but not which button it actually is is pretty ridiculous. All in all, still a decent game, but it feels absolutely awful to play. Probably better to buy it just in case (especially if Ubisoft continues to leave it the only AC game unplayable on modern consoles), but then for the content itself watch videos. And then go straight into AC2.
