I like the idea but the execution is pure scrote sack in the face... AVOID ! (I dont mind the Gwent game just the RNG is a farce)
NOT SUITABLE FOR KEYBOARD + MOUSE ... horrific RSI inducing combat requiring you to grow some extra digits to play via keyboard... AVOID as no refund available for the above reason! caveat emptor...
Gameplay is tedious in the extreme with little or no story or purpose to any of the events in no way shape or form is this a 3 * game ?? as per the reviews on site ? 1* or less perhaps would be generous in the extreme . A game for masochists and zombies only in my opinion. ... did ask for a refund as it was so bad but GOG seems to be getting uppity about refunding on this point... so a polite CAVEAT EMPTOR on this title , it is as in the words of one buried previous review ... Trash.
PTW the game of the magic last card ... oh and btw its always some gamebreaker that costs $100 in barrels .... the speed round minigame just about equalises the $$$ offset but forget the standard game its utter triple decker labrador recycled dogsplat Unlike some wood preserving agents this fails to state "large investment of coins required". Some nice artwork on the cards and some journey unlocks for ornamental tat but little of any use to improve in game competitiveness. Would be a 1* but for the artwork and rapid game format, however if the cost of living crisis is a mythical beast and your pockets are bottomless enjoy Gwent its the game for you.
