You won't even be able to run it on any current/modern Mac - it's 32bit only with no intent to bring it back to life. And GOG never tells you whether a game is Intel/M1/32bit/64bit compatible - probably because most of their games aren't properly updated, even if they are on other platforms.
The story is nice, setting is interesting, but oh lawd the game is so boooooring. Lots of walking, pulling some switches and levers, but artificial extending of play time (by creating unnecesary long paths, wheren even running feels like crawling) is seriously irritating. Occasional monsters here and there force you to do some sneaking, but mostly it's just a walking simulator, which should be half as long at most. Got it for free, wasn't amused. PS: Game takes over 20GB of space and I can't figure why - assets are repetitive, and I've seen sharper textures in smaller games.
Everything has been already said about the game itself - it's simply great! But for crying out loud - make the Mac version proper macOS application! You know - with icon which can appear in Launchpad and not opening in terminal... At first you might even thing that it didn't install properly. That is really weak.
Years after release this is still very playable and good looking racer. One annoying thing about it is, as someone mentioned before - your car always seems to be lighter than opponents cars, so they can push you off track a bit too easily. Still a great game to play, totally recommended
