To me, DAO is the best single-user non-action CRPG of all times. So much fun to have a living team with interacting persons. You can play the game multiple times and it's still fun. It feels so real...
Not exactly a game - it rather looks like an extended demo. Some quite easy to solve puzzles, that's all. Main point of the whole thing seems to be its minimalistic artworks, but if you have experimented with 3D world simulators, you know that's not difficult to accomplish. I can't recommend this game, sorry.
I have played the original in German, and it was full of irony. Now that version in English misses that and because of this, the story gets somewhat displeasing at certain points. I can understand that many players don't like the acting. A pity, really.
