project warlock 2 seems to improve on the gameplay of the first title wonderfully. i love shooters and this is a must play for me. wonderful fps game design at display here and would do good to be studied by other game developers on how to stick with your foundations and improve from there.

... and thats what you get =) the music is sublime the graphic is amazing the game has the right smoothness and feel of movement and weapons that you expect. the retro style brings gaming back to shooters - the feeling is more real then in other modern fps games out there and project warlock is a modern shooter in a retro style that just drains your time away. honestly, i much prefer this style of graphic for visceral shooters. also the music is ... just perfect for the game. only thing missing is reallocation of stat and upgrades from the "workshop"-area (the level hub of the game) - but do not let that drive you away from purchasing project warlock and have an eye out for what they cook up in the future. i needed a game for my recurring shooter itch and project warlock is the right fix for me.

just good overall for any playstyle you like in an arpg casual chill or veteran on the edge. the stat and item system is very streamlined and fun to grind for. the masteries each have a distinctly different feel to them and you can combine them also - and it is not rocket science to get an overview over your attributes and what you want to be able to do. if you are capable and interested in reading generally, the game offers wonderful story and lore for you. if you are a curious nature and like to explore you are in for a double treat in these regards. generally it is just nice to have an action rpg on the side and grim dawn is the best choice, or put all other games aside for grim dawn - its worth it.

I like the voice acting and story alot so far. Darksiders always oozed with passion but felt it has been held back. I really hope THQ Nordic can give this enough time and with the right forsight make this into a long lasting possibly game development as a service kind of game. The world already provides for endless possibilities. I really like to see that they show nice effort for us keyboard and mouse gamers who cherish the possibilities of the tools we like instead of a controller. The game says it is best played on a controller, but i disagree. I can not be alone prefering the button alignment of the keyboard and mice over any controller. The controls and keybindings when not using a controller might take some time to adjust, see it as part of the general learning curve and just get over it. I hope for continous improvements on the ui and controls. The graphics are totally in line of the game and what you expect from Darksiders and the textures look pretty neat. I hope for a map marker to show the current player position as the camera is controlled by the game and its rotation can make it confusing where your current location is in relation to the chests and stuff. You would think you stick to Strife because range obviously seems superior, but War brings the muscle to the battle, can stand his ground for you and generally it is very useful to switch characters regularly. All in all if you like what you see from Darksiders, this game is an extremly good bargain for what you get. A solid game with just minor annoyances mostly ui, keybindings and aim mode (can't speak for controller), an epic story with characters which feel powerful and at the same time leave potential to improve during the playthrough and voiceacting that immerses you into the world through the characters even more. If this continues the right way this is truly the genesis of all future Darksiders games, if this game is treated with the deserving care from development and publishing. Buy it.

Even with the W.I.M.P update i must admit, my reflexes are just not fast enough to match the easiest setting. I love the setting and the style and the game is definately worth it's money - but only if you are truly competent in your reflexive aiming. Definately a nice game to have, but be aware of, that you might suck in it, if if you are not VERY capable with your aim. It is pretty unforgiving.
