A really nice surprise, the current ratings do not lie at all. Combines elements of Mafia, A bit of Batman, Enter the Dragon, GTA 4, Matrix and probably another 20 other things that I am not recalling/didn't notice. My surprise is that this game is really good and I haven't heard anyone talking about it at the time of its release. It also uses the best achievement system that I ever encountered, really nudges you to explore the city Do give it a try, for the price of 3 euros it's really a steal. I do wonder sometimes how GOG makes a profit with these pricing strategies. I mean this in a positive way, thanks again GOG for bringing such great games to us at such prices.
There was a submarine section where I got stuck, I thought there was a glitch since a door was not opening. Went through a walkthrough, and it turns out it wasn't a glitch, just wasn't doing the right thing. I release the submarine but just a second before it touches the water it explodes. Turns out that is indeed a glitch. Fix? Download and run the Dash Faction mod. Turns this game from playable to a must try. After a few minutes of adjusting to the gameplay though, do switch to hard difficulty. Then you will really feel every bullet you get hit with. Not convinced yet?
