Wonder Boy: The Dragon's Trap

Badly optimized

The framerate stutters unlike any game I have ever played on this PC, and it frankly makes the game unplayable. I have a GTX 970 and have not run into any game ever that my PC has not been able to handle, so it is quite a surprise that this 2D side-scroller is the one that broke the computer's back. I was very excited to play this game after I saw it on a recent episode of Game Sack. Unfortunately, I can't get past the first few screens without turning the game off out of frustration. If I had the foresight to get this on Steam, I would be refunding it right now. Hard pass.

Fahrenheit (Indigo Prophecy)

Probably the worst game ever made

I have never written a review on this site, and I would rather not be writing negative results on GoG, but in this case, I feel that I must. To call this a "game" is being very, very generous. The game starts out interestingly, like an adventure game where if you miss something, there are consequences. It quickly degrades into an Easter Egg hunt... and that is all that happens in the game. It is one of those scour-the-entire-screen-until-you-find-this-specific-item games, or go-to-this-specific-spot, and there really is nothing else to it. Every once in a while, there is a flurry of quick-time events. The story, which is commonly lauded as the game's saving grace, is absolutely abysmal in my opinion. DO NOT BUY THIS GAME. There are hundreds of great games on this site that you should pick up instead.
