I haven't read the Witcher books but this game is an epic fail. I had it for years in my game library, just haven't had time to play it so far but I'm giving up after 5-6 hours of playing. * Endless walking. * Loading screen after loading screen after loading screen. * Atrocious UI. * Combat that's straight out of QuickTime. Click, wait, click, wait, repeat. * This is not an RPG but more like a 3D platformer. * Boring, empty environments; bunch of reused models and textures. * Use of the Black Isle game engine. * Disjointed story. Uses every cliche from TVTropes. * Gratuitous use of sex. If there are good things in this game, I somehow missed them all. Granted, I haven't played that long but I can already see how this compares to Neverwinter Nights (not a favorable comparison) and I'm simply not willing to waste my life on this piece of garbage.
