Graphics and music are nice, but some missions can become impossible to finish because trade routes just stop working. Highly frustrating.
I wasn't expecting much, but I was disappointed all the same. The UI is stupid. Escape opens the menu, but doesn't close it. The "quit" button, separate from the left hand side menu? That exits the game without warning. The key bindings don't stay between restarts, so AZERTY players are screwed. The game starts with an utterly useless phase where you're on foot and the only useful action is to enter the car. The racing is boring to the extreme, with a super long track and no indication of what's left (I never finished that first race). The game is buggy too - in my first attemps I could not at all control the camera while in the car. Only after accidentally quitting and restarting did I notice it wasn't deliberate. Even the music, which should have been the shining point, is lackluster. The neon graphic style is interesting for about 20 seconds, then the eye pain settles in (I'm positive it's possible to make this style work in a less straining way). This "game" is not finished. I can't fathom how this game stands at 3+ stars.
