Windows 7 user here. Tried initially to pirate this game. Spent hours of fiddling with configurations and looking up fixes trying to get the damn pirated version to work. I thought I'd try the GOG version because I heard they had pre-configured to work with win7. To my pleasant surprise, entire game works "out of the box". No fussing necessary. Extremely impressed with GOG's dedication to making sure their games work, even the old cheap-o titles This is the version Windows 7 users should get.
