Pillars of Eternity: Definitive Edition

Ridiculously difficult

Game is impossibly difficult. Yet again designers have no idea what they are doing with thinking “hey, this is impossible, so it must be fun!” Tons of useless dialogue also. Even on “normal” difficulty” everything overpowers you. No matter where you go or how you outfit your group, you get slaughtered. Stupid game design. If you love endless reloading of game saves and tons of time wasted, then go ahead and try playing it. Also where to complete quests is vague at best. Oftentimes it tells you "return to so-in-so" but doesn't tell you where to find this person, and going back through old quest info doesn't help either. Very tedious and like I said pointlessly difficult where it isn't remotely fun. Fun is progress and winning, not endless reloading......

Fallout 4: Game of the Year Edition

Not my cup of nuka cola

I really wanted to like this as I liked Fallout 3 and NV, but this is just too tedious with having to build this or that constantly for settlements. Endless hunting for things you can’t find. I’ve never built the “higher” end whatever - water pumps, defenses, etc. Can’t find enough resources quickly, or in a reasonable amount of time. If you like the idea of endless scavenging, repairing, building, then you might like this. But I find it tedious and boring.
