- Character creation is very bad. No morphiong, just several parts you can change. Only existing presets. VERY limited options and STRANGE variations available: for example there are 3 types of purple hair color. but NO pink one; there custom eye pupils with targets/skulls etc. but there are no light blue or light green eyes. You cannot zoom your character in/out to check how will the change you are making look from a distance. You cannot rotate you character with mouse, only Q/E keys, but when you do this it scrolls you through the customixation options. You literally cannot create a character you want, only customize the existing one slightly. TERRIBLE!!!! - Inventory and inerface in gerenral is THE WORST. Every action will require at least 5-6 clicks/button pushes. Why the hell when you go to inventory you first go to the menu with a list of inventory subsections which appear with a slow animation only when you mouseover them? Did the person who created this ever play a video-game? -I have only done the first quest yet, but the music so far is terrible.: no techno which is a signature cyberpank music style, but istead soe crappy rap everywhere. Gameplay is ok. Basically Deus Ex in first person, which is pretty solid. Environment looks pretty descent. Basically the game can be played and enjoyed,. but the level of quality and understanding of player's needs is nowhere near what you would expect from an experienced big budget team.
I played this game when it was first released. In fact it was the first ever licensed legitimate copy of a game i bought in my life. That was due to a huge article in a game magazine praising the game as a masterpiece. It was all lies. The article was payed for by the publisher. This game has nothing to it. Even the description is lying about the "world simulation". What you will se is an empty world filled with 6 types of npc and the same amount of ships. Each type in their own sector of space. You will repeat the same 5-6 generated missions like "kill ships there", kill every enemy on that planet. Planets are nasically and empty field with one room building in it and a bunch of enemy mobs. The story is non-existent. Literally it doesnt have it. They took the story from the first game (which was pretty good actually) and said main character got teleported to the past events. BAM! Heres your story. Nothing will ever happen till the very end. Stay away from this.
