The first and second are good games, the first one mainly is great, the third one I couldn't run on my computer. For a good price you get two working games and one that you have to figure out yourself, they have good puzzles and the stories are good, in the 2nd one the puzzles are a bit tricky and convoluted and in the 1st one the puzzles in the castle can be hard to find visually although overall it is all good.
ONLY buy it if you can multitask. Great game, a bit slow at times, has a wonderful story and the visuals still hold up. Thing is though, there is one flaw - if you miss a book near the end of the first half of the game, as in the old ages, the game becomes incredibly harder further on. There's a set of skills in a book that help A LOT with the harder bosses. Other than that good upgrade system, good story, a bit of the points put in character are unexplained but you figure them out later on.
Possibly the greatest cowboy game along with Red Dead Redemption. It is kind of like GTA style, some of the side quests are extremely tedious, the only flaw I'd say it has is how absolutely different the last boss is from everything else. The last boss almost ruins the game but even if you don't defeat him and finish it it is still a 4/5 game, great one.
And one of the greatest ever games. Great upgrade system, very colorful and beautiful visuals, immersive story with possibly the best ending in video games history. Only thing I dislike is the lack of weapons you can use at once, it is made for a fast and reactive combat so it has 2 powers/weapons that you can switch, the powers you can assign which ones you want to quick switch at all times but the weapons you have to pick up from other places so you can switch them in combat. All in all it is great, the DLCs are amazing and offer you a completely new perspective and way of playing and if you adore the combat like I did there is also a combat based DLC in which you can defeat waves after waves, as if you were a doctor and the waves are covid.
As my title says, about the game the only flaw I can say it is that there's a hidden morality system that you are never informed about and because it is an older game some of the items are too pixelated to be noticed right away. You'll be devoured by the story, it is incredible and horrible dark and you'll love every bit of it. My favorite game along with Bulletstorm, I recommend both.
THAT I'VE PLAYED. The lack of variables of enemies, the lack of bosses and how the challenges on the map weren't assigned compared to everything else are the only flaws, in my opinion. One of the greatest games that I've played, amazing combat system and great upgrade system. It doesn't go into depth explaining how to do the quick time events with the button mashing, I'm talking about the circle thing, which was frustrating but it was too rare for me to acknowledge it as a flaw.
I've been listening for years about how good the Witcher games were and I started with this one, because it is the first. The story is great and all, the upgrade system too, the enemies are creative but the combat system is probably the worst I've seen in any game. Good game overall, I recommend it.
