Pros: Combat is simple but fun. Everything one shots (you and enemies). Combat is a mixture of timing and strategy (find best route to dodge enemies and strike fast) Story isn't too bad. A little tropey, but not cheesy. I felt challenged but never enough to rage quit. And I felt entertained but not exhausted. Honestly, this is the first game I've finished in like 3 years. Most games I lose interest or just begin to feel like a slog. At around 13 hours time to complete, I felt good about this game. It has some replay value in a hardcore mode too if you want some more challenge/hours. Cons: If you quit part way through a level, you lose your progress. Levels can be 30-45 minutes depending on how bad you are. (They are quicker once you know what to do on 2nd pass through). So even though gameplay is fast, it can eat up chunks of time or you find yourself replaying 50% of a mission. Final level is dumb Platforming is fun for combat, but not fun when it's just for platforming sake. Near the end, they introduce a new enemy which just doesn't mesh well in the game imo TL;DR: I'd recommend playing this game. Buy on sale though.
