Shame on Nightdive, they had the oportunity to give this infuential classic the same treatment as they did for System Shock and chose not to. They took the time to create 3D models for some of the 3D cutscenes but couldn't be bothered to make the 2D cutscenes 3D. Not to mention the 2D cutscene look upscaled by AI, now is that the case maybe, maybe not but fact of the matter is it doesn't look right and is mismatched. Lastly they couldn't even make the enemies 3D, again just upscaled sprites. People are wondering if it is AI due to 1 sprite, what's his face that you need to find in the sewers, look at his arm, AI upscaling tends to add details that are not there and parts of him are mismatched. The other issue is owners of the original get nothing, no update, now real discount, nothing, that's trash.
Instant CTD on newer systems running win 7/ 8, there is no work around so far. Sad to say, but I would like my money back and due steer away from this title unless you have a machine running xp or better yet windows 98.
