LOOM™

Book of patterns.

I HIGHLY recommend everyone to download and print out the book of patterns! You can fill it out during your playthrough. It contains a lot of information about the game and each spell/draft.

Jenny LeClue - Detectivu

Det. Scifi Adventure with minor letdowns

Positive: + Surprisingly deep/rich story with unexpected plot-twists. + Dialogue choices that actually matter and effect the story. + 13-15 hours of gameplay. You're definitely getting your money's worth. + this game looks beautiful! each chapter surprises with new graphics + Soundtrack by sntfc (who also did the OST for Oxenfree, Old Man's Journey...) + Huge colorful diary where everything you experience is noted down + Diary is customizable to your liking, with collectable stickers you find hidden throughout the game. Negative: - This is only Part 1!! Meaning you're left with an open end/cliffhanger. Which I did not know because it's not written anywhere. - repetitive puzzles that felt a little tedious after the 2nd and 3rd time. - There's no voice acting yet - No Achievements on release day. I cannot recommend playing this game yet. I'd wait a little longer to see If the devs are even working/planning on releasing part 2 to finish the story.

Little Misfortune

More of a serious review.

Pros: + many hidden secrets and gimmicks that can be unlocked by picking the right choices. + well written adventure story with unexpected plot-twists and cute humor. + super cute vocal synchronisations + lovely, detailed animations + awesome soundtrack Neutral: short game -> one playthrough takes about 3-4 hours, but due to the replayability it is very excusable. Contras: - too easy -> no riddles, no (interactive) inventory etc. - gameplay too linear. game takes you from A to B. All in all I highly recommend Little (Lady) Misfortune. The developers put a lot of work and love into this game and it shows. Don't compare it to fran bow and you'll have a wonderful time.
