If you really liked Witcher 1 on the pc as I did with all of its ways to customize your experience, i.e. (switching from 3rd to 1st person view), you will not like this game, as it suffers from the all-too-familiar "console itis. Another poorly implimented console port. I could barely get through the prologue before uninstalling and have no plans on buying Witcher 3.
Trying to recreate the magic you felt when you played Battlezone? Me too. Unfortunately, this game was made for a joystick and the movement keys CAN'T be changed from default, and despite what the manual says-you can't turn off turret lock with keyboard-frustrating. I have a widescreen monitor like most people these days, with Vista 64-and the game will just suddenly crash and close itself to desktop-so be sure and save game often. Graphics, voice acting, and the levels are all very top notch, and the AI is suitably challenging. Well worth the cheap price, but I cannot heartily recommend the game because of the keyboard/mouse and sudden crashing problems.

I really wanted to like this game and the genre-blending concept is great, but think twice before you buy it--Singleplayer mode is very frustrating and NOT fun. The landscapes you are forced to jet-pack across to complete missions are huge, vast and INCREDIBLY BORING. NO SAVE GAME and ALL cheat codes are disabled-prepare to start at beginning of mission and spend 15-minutes jet packing back to where you lost health. Game seemd more like a really crappy version of Tribes with British accents and bad level design.
