Zombie Shooter 2

Somewhat Zombie-esque Killer

(Based on a non-GOG copy of the game.) If you want a madcap isometric shooter with tons of gibs and buckets of blood, this is the game for you. If you want an actual zombie game, maybe give this a pass. The zombie element gets thrown out the bus partway through the game, for all intents and purposes. For story-related reasons which I won't spoil here (not that the story is deep or engaging or makes a ton of sense anyway), you're soon fighting huge armored mutants with large cannons strapped to their backs, in addition to increasingly rare/unchallenging normal zombies. Half-Life 2 is more of a zombie game than this is, honestly, so the title is misleading to say the least. You should also know that the gameplay is divided into levels, and some levels are turret segments. If you prefer to play tactically and don't really like to man a vehicle turret and mindlessly mow through thousands of enemies from time to time, be warned. That said, there's a bunch of weapons and a ton of character customization, not only in terms of stats, but also featuring a perk system that can completely change the way you play. Lots of replayability to be had. It is RPG-like and you do level up your character, which can be a lot of fun. Overall, I can recommend it if you're looking for action, can tolerate the occasional bug, and don't care if a game's atmosphere veers wildly from creepy zombie apocalypse to gaudy shoot-em-up and back, seemingly at random. If you're really into zombies though, and want a suitably atmospheric post-apocalyptic experience, probably best to look elsewhere.

STAR WARS™ Galactic Battlegrounds Saga

The Classic Star Wars RTS

"Converted 20 Stormtroopers to the Light Side and sent them to fight an AT-AT. 1138/10, would troll Empire again." As others here have said, this is basically Age of Empires 2 in the Star Wars universe. If you know what either of those things are, you need this game, simple as that. Age of Empires and Star Wars: it's the peanut butter & chocolate of '90s/'00s RTS. And after all these years where the only way to get it was to buy someone's scratched second-hand CD off of eBay or something, it's finally available for download on GOG. You have no reason to not have this game. If you pass it up, you want to go home and rethink your life.
