Resident Evil as everyone knows is a great game and this PC port captures the same spirit as it's original release. Unfortunately there are some bits and pieces of this port that are a little stinky, such as the FMV looking wonky, lower quality textures and backgrounds, and strange decisions like Jill not needing to use ink cartridges during her first playthrough. Due to this port being from like the 14th century, I can't be too hard on it but at the very least I would hope that GOG would've been able to fix up the cutscenes so they run like the original console version. Regardless, still a release that I'm glad to see. This is RE history and it deserved to be preserved
