Pros: - Lots of secrets to find - Graphics look good and the playable character is cute - Game is not too easy and not too hard - No combat - Minimal cutscenes and dialogue - Game-breaking final upgrade if you 100% some of the collectibles Cons: - Final boss is overly hard if you do it legit. However it is very easy to accidentally cheese the boss in both a legit and bugged way. To the point that most people won't do the boss legitimately. If you quit during the final boss and you come back to it later you will accidentally make the boss easier. - Controls can be hard to learn. At first I kept messing up the tail jump, but eventually got the hang of it. - End game (and even just mid game) abilities make finding collectibles overly easy, which can take the fun out of finding them - When you exit and re-enter the game you are thrown back to the hub area, which can be annoying as you have to make your way back to where you left off. This can be good though as once you finish an area you simply have to 'Save and Quit' to get back to the hub area
The game is expensive for how short it is and with the good ending the game feels like a demo for a longer game. If you get this on sale or for free I would 100% recommend this, the puzzles are the right level of difficulty and the art looks good.
Good art. Story is a bit bogged down by how 'gamey' the gameplay is, has a couple of fetch quests added to extend the playtime. Wish there was a way to play the battles without having to skip through the dialogue, as though easy the battles are fairly fun and have good music. Would wait for this to go on sale or to enter a bundle.
