An absolute gem of the point and click genre. This game captured my imagination at a young age and opened me up to new worlds, possibilities and ways of thinking. You mind will be challenged, your heart will race, and if you're patient enough, the greater puzzle this game reveals will profoundly unravel before you. I can't recommend this game enough.
Hitchhiker is more of an interactive novel than a video game. The parts are well voice acted, the story is well written, I was captivated the whole way through. It's a relaxing experience, like an old friend reading you a story. There's heart and meaning in each new turn. You can't change the story significantly, but you still feel a part of it, rather than just an observer. I think that's what makes it so good, you become invested because you start to feel like the main character. If you like a relaxing story that keeps you engaged with mystery and puzzle solving, then you'll like Hitchhiker.
