Morrowind is like a fruit that has the sweetest pulp you could imagine but it only grows in the most excruciatingly remote location and is guarded by werebears.
I've just started the DLC's but the original campaign is one of the best RPG's ever made. Even after all this time a lot of people still remember the Bloody Baron quest as some of the finest writing in gameing - ever. The game is amazing and will be worth playing for many, many years to come.
Played all kinds of games for 30 years. To keep it short, this game is made by real professionals. The game design is extremely good. There are so many details that are just - great. Highly addictive gameplay, great atmosphere, game is made by people who had an artistic vision and that CARED about their product. Support developers like this. Buy the game. You won't regret it.
A flawed but highly enjoyable game. There are parts of HOMM, Lands of Lore, Might&Magic and a lot of old school classics in this game. I played this without reading anything about it before or during the playthrough. This game is not balanced, which to me is fine, and it becomes obvious after a while that you can min-max your party a lot. But I stuck with the party I had made. If you enjoy the atmosphere of the games I mentioned you will love this game. It is definitely made by fans of them.
This is the Gothic of isometric RPG:s. Use the unofficial patch and the increased resolution mod.
