Kingdom Come: Deliverance Royal Edition

What a mess of a game! So many problems!

The main problem in this "realistic" game is the AI, it throws you into combat at the drop of a hat. Sometimes you are just standing by watching a skirmish, and the NPCs aggro towards you for no reason and not enough warning to back out. They all charge you out of nowhere even though they were fighting each other a moment ago. An example: I arrive at a skirmish between two opposing faction, there are two separate group within the fight, I am closest to the smallest group where there is a 2 vs 1(the game puts me in combat immediately), so naturally I side with the lone guy because if he dies I risk ending up on the losing side of a 2v1, it's preferable to be 1v1v1. The lone guy starts waling on me with the other 2 out of nowhere... Another example, I stumble upon city guards fighting Cumans, I side with the guards, but while swinging I accidentally hit one of the guard, just once, and immediately they aggro and start fighting me. After killing all the Cumans I have to yield and pay a fine or go to jail. If after the fight the guards would have requested compensation for injuring one of them and getting in their way, I would understand, but the AI just flips a switch and they get into that hostile mode. It's very hard to discern what's going on, who's who in a fight, because the NPCs often just rush towards you like maniacs, and then you get stuck into that soft/sticky target lock mode, which makes it very difficult to back away, disengage and assess the situation. Instead you end up dying and having to reload, sometimes far back in time. I don't understand people in the reviews saying its a realistic game, there is absolutely nothing realistic about the situations, moreover, your character can't stop being a turd and escalating during dialogs, which goes against the RPG aspects of it all. The lone star is for the excellent UI theme and for the Christian setting(Refreshing to see a pro Christian stance in games nowadays). I wanted to like this game but alas...
