I'm offended by the aggressive attachment of the classic name to this game, which has nothing in common with them. It's almost as big of a travesty as X-COM: Interceptor and XCOM: The Bureau (neither of which, you may note, did well). Movement restricted to warplines? "Realtime" tactical combat? Bleah. Taken on its own merits, this looks like a credible, if unoriginal game in the "turn based strategy/"realtime" tactical" 4X space game subgenre. But it is unoriginal, so its only claim to fame is the use of the classic title, which is a flat out lie.
