Good graphics and fluid game. Problem is the plot is bonkers and the gameplay is, basically, a guided, long stroll through screens, with a cutscene every now and then. Done in a couple of hours, without much excitement, just the suspense of trying to figure out where it was planning to go with the story, only to conclude that it wasn't going anywhere at all. The price is just worth the effort put into the graphics, soundtrack, and development. The plot seems to have been written by flipping a coin.

It's a nice game, reminds me of the 1995 game "The Dig" . The plot is interesting and straightforward, with a twist that doesn't come suddenly, but emerges slowly towards the middle of the game. With fairly polished graphics and details, fluid movements, a total absence of bugs, and good dialogue, both technically and in terms of plot it is a more than decent product. If I had to find a fault with it, it would be that the game is rather short. We're not expecting 40 hours like in “The Longest Journey,” for goodness' sake, but something more than the current 4-5 hours would have been better. On the other hand, the integrated walkthrough is particularly welcome, allowing you to overcome any blocks in the game if required. In short, given all the rubbish out there, a game like this is more than welcome.

The plot seems good so far, but the game engine is terrible. From an Unreal implementation I'd expected far better looks and outcomes, but the movement are sometimes cranky, the character bodies are approximate at best and the game controls and mechanics (especially the combat QTE) are absolutely awful. Unless, at least, the controls are fixed, I wouldn't recommend it...

It was a long awaited episode of the Syberia saga, but it was worth the wait. Every aspect in the game is stunning but, IMHO, the greatest one is the story. Deep, intense, with the right amount of plot twist and funny and sad moments, with an overall perspective, albeit from a narrative standpoint, with one of the most dark and terrible period of our real history. I loved also how almost all of the plot lines were solved and closed, even if I still hope for one more final effort, even if only with a DLC. All there's left to say is a great thank you to its creator, Benoit Sokal, that passed away last year, bequeathing to us a wonderful dream to dream again. Sit tibi terra levis.

For anything else, in the end is a poor 3d version of "Myst", but without the breathtaking and varied scenarios. The puzzles are repetitive and rather poor, the game is full of completely useless objects that you can only lift and drop, as well as places that you can open and examine to no avail. In short, a pretty confusing story told as a boring game book. I quit halfway through it, I was falling asleep. Two stars, I said, just for the effort in drawing the scenarios, boring yes, but with some effort in making them. For the rest, at least for me, i'ts a big no.
