My favourite space sim

returns. Trade. Fight. Build. Think. Cheat. Mod. Break everything. Start wars. Win. Lose. Try again. Do it all locally, with offline installers, thanks to GOG, and Egosoft's strong, historic, game preservation stance. Did you know that Egosoft provide Steam owners with an actual CRACK for their games, and have for decades? Anyway, never mind a serious review, if you like the look of this in-depth space-based universe simulation, with a few stories weaved in, and you have a 7th gen i7 or better, and a GTX 1080 or better, you will enjoy this. If you have minimum specs, wait until your PC is good enough, just like I have with ALL Egosoft games. I own x3:r twice, x3:tc once, and x4 timelines so Egosoft can't complain!

Fallout 4: Game of the Year Edition

Thank you GOG

I did read the warning about reviewing the game and not the format or context, but I've been nagging you for years to get this, sailing the high seas waiting for my DRM-free, archivable, legal copy. Well here it is, I bought it on payday, after excitedly waiting 2 weeks since having seen the announcement on the Nexus. I promised GOG that my time sailing the high seas would end if you got this, in the Requests section for this game, and here I am keeping my promise. The Five Stars is both for the game itself, standing alone, AND, despite your rules for reviews, for GOG too. Not only did I expect to use up a Blu-Ray or two archiving this with my mod collection and F4SE, GOG packaged it in nice 4Gb chunks for DVD's! You really do respect the retired, tired Pirates out here, and I salute you, GOG! Pirating was never about not paying, it was about owning what was paid for, or trying a crap game before regretting a premium purchase. GOG is a Good company, one of very few left, that respects the difference between owning and renting. I haven't the drivespace to archive it tonight, but I've paid for it, and I actually trust GOG to hold onto my files unlike other major publishers! Would you believe an auto-update took my favourite songs away from Grand Theft Auto 4? The only thing that saved me was the pirated, cracked version I tried before I bought my BOXED COPY, and it turned out I didn't even own that! Thank you again GOG, from an old bitter pirate! I can go un-hide my creations on the NEXUS now, guilt be-gone!
