It's a little janky compared to modern titles but still holds up. If you are an old grognard, take the opportunity and play this. The plot is a true gem among Fantasy stories.
With the expansions as a complete game, this is the best sim there is. Maybe not that flashiest, or most polished, but HOI4 has been out for over 5 years and they're still changing the core rules with every major expansion. Ain't nobody got time for that.
