Many times these play as the monster games fail to go as far as they need to in making the monster truly horrorfying. Compared to the humans the creature is fast and kills very easy. Reminds me of the Alien Vs Predator game of late 90s. Playing as the Alien was always fun.
I had been waiting for this title since 2005. I was too poor to play the VR title that launched just a bit before this. Also too poor for the fundraising. However I gladly paid full price when it was available. It is so nice to revisit the old characters, levels are bigger and more goregous. It kept most of what made the original so good, rich storytelling, unique and bold artistry, and engaging gameplay. I would encourage you to play the original on Xbox or PS2, as the PC port (all versions) has bugs, but is still playable if you do not own the original.
