There are far more better rpgs available. You should play Gothic 1, 2, 3 or Risen instead. I had heard a lot of bad things about this game but at the beginning, sure the graphics are bad and the performance terrible. Sure the voice acting and the intro are laughable. But I thought that Two Worlds was not that bad: the gameplay is pretty cool, the inventory system is okay. You can have a horse and explore easily a huge map, the game isn't linear. You can even fight on a horse! But what makes Two Worlds a bad rpg is that this game has NO PERSONALITY. The story is bad, the characters are forgettable and are just quest givers, the conversation options are extremely limited, the cities are lifeless. Also the quests are bad. The combat though fun at the beginning gets boring after a few hours. I uninstalled this game after around 9 hours of playing, when I realized it was getting more and more tedious.
The cell-shading graphics, the music, the atmosphere, the attention to details are all very good. But the gameplay sucks. You spend most of the game collecting light seeds, not really exciting right? And the fighting system is awful and feels like a succession of QTE.
